Guitar Tab Recording's New Look

Hello again everyone!

Today is Saturday, October 20, 2007, and we are changing the way we look to the world!

As I write this, our site is being reconfigured. We adding new content and some really great features. Soon, guitar enthusiasts will be able to comment on our blog, or publish their own guitar tabs and/or their own recorded songs in MP3 format. Of course, some oversight will be necessary for content.

Keep your eyes peeled for the changes and keep up the good work.

New Les Paul

I have (4) 1960's vintage guitars, but always heard the best was the Gibson Les Paul. So, before buying, I submitted info to www.Ruffinrecording.com wondering if such an online guitar studio could provide some guidance in choosing the best guitars available. Well, they did ! Gave me detail of what to look for and how to determine playability + value.

Great site.

The Ultimate Guitar Tab Recording Site

It is September 10, 2007, and the world of guitar tab and recording are coming together like never before. Guitartabrecording is the Ultimate Guitar Tab Recording site. As people learn their favorite songs by using guitar tab and then move on to perfecting their skills through recording, the ultimate in guitar tab recording is found at Guitartabrecording.com. The premier guitar tab recording site is a portal
to a virtual studio that affords the client a step by step approach to shortening the learning curve to musical proficiency.

In the world, there are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of guitar tab enthusiasts that will try their hand at recording at some point in their journey as musicians. Understandably, there are a myriad of sites on the web that are devoted to recording the efforts of moderately to highly skilled musicians. Equally understandably, most of these sites charge a hefty sum to record their clients efforts.

Now, as far as I know, there is only one site that is specifically designed to help the beginning guitarists of the world. That site is entitled "Ultimate Guitar Tab Recording" and the URL is www.guitartabrecording.com. The concept is simple, the budding guitar player downloads free tools, learns to tune the guitar, form some basic chords, and play in tempo. He or she then gains confidence, collaborates with one or more veteran musicians via the internet and through the guitartabrecording site and records a demo CD for a very affordable price. So, it is easy to see why it is indeed the "Ultimate Guitar Tab Recording" Site.

If you regularly use guitar tab, and seek to do some recording, and do not want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to try out your skills, then the Ultimate Guitar Tab Recording site is the place for you to start.

Check it out. It is "Oh So Easy"

Po Fatty Inks Deal with RuffinRecording

Hello World......today is Wednesday, August 8th, and it has been a great week for Guitartabrecording.com and RuffinRecording.com. On August 1st, Po Fatty, "Memphis Style Blues" Legend, agreed to a 3-track deal with RuffinRecording.com. The musical side of this deal is something that I personally have been working on for a number of months. The legal side has been spearheaded by LA Holloway of Atlanta, GA. (Please see paragraph 4)

Po Fatty is as good a blues performer as you will ever see or hear, and many of you might have heard of him. He hails from a long line of Blues singers and players. The preliminary plans for these recordings are to include some of the best known Atlanta session players and maybe a couple of nationally known session aces as well. Po Fatty is really excited about working with Ruffin Recording; and on a personal note, I am thrilled to be working with such a huge star. He is really, really, really big in Memphis Blues lore.

At the time of the signing of the 3-track deal with RuffinRecording, Po Fatty announced that his own web site, www.pofatty.com, is under construction and is slated to be up and running well before the songs are released. The scheduled release date is in the fall of 2007. All of the songs will be offered for sale at www.guitartabrecording.com, www.ruffinrecording.com, and www.Pofatty.com, along with Mr. Fatty's legendary catalog. As of this moment, Burnlounge and iTunes have not responded about their interest in this history making blues project.

LA Holloway, Chief of Operations for Guitartabrecording.com and RuffinRecording.com, has been instrumental in tracking down and bird dogging this deal. Po Fatty, as many of you might know, is now and has always been picky about who he works with and where he records. A spokesperson for Mr. Fatty said: "Mr. Holloway has really did his homework in pursuing this pack" (sic). Mr. Holloway worked through many long and reportedly contentious skull sessions with famed Atlanta attorney, Melvin Dansby, Esq. Mr. Dansby, who recently came out of retirement, has a rather unique practice, listing Mr. Fatty as his one and only client. It goes without saying; that the teaming of these two legends in their respective fields speaks volumes. Some legal buffs feel that "legal history" does not even begin to describe it. When reached for comment, Mr. Dansby said: "whenever I go into a negotiation like this, my goal is to steer clear of contextual argumentation." When word of Mr. Dansby's statement reached our own Mr. Holloway, he shrugged: "no comment." LA has been on an extended holiday at an undisclosed location in the Caribbean since the conclusion of the grueling talks.

All in all, this has been a great week for www.ruffinrecording.com and www.guitartabrecording.com! It's a great to be alive, to be a musician, and to be an American!

Guitar Tab Recording: The Best Answer For Beginners?

Welcome to our brand new Guitar Tab Recording Blog!
I am dropping a quick note to the beginning guitar players in the world about the best method I have found to learn the guitar licks that are tough to figure out without years of experience. As I believe the beginner's initial goal is to play like the pros, guitar tab is a great tool to achieve that goal. Go to www.guitartabrecording.com and check it out.

Years ago, when I started playing guitar, there was no internet and no tablature. I had to figure out the licks myself or with the help of my guitar playing buddies. I am The Lone Ranger, there have been hundreds of thousands of guys and gals that learned that way. However, with the advent of guitar tab, most folks can shorten the learning curve and improve quickly without a lot of fanfare.

Later on, besides live performance, I wanted to write and record my own music. That is the desire of everyone I've ever known that picked up a guitar, sat behind a set of drums or a keyboard. But recording in a conventional studio can be cost big bucks. On top of that, as the artist, you are responsible for the content and the results. Most studios do not provide instructions nor do they have the time or patience to help you. If you are not able to play the instrument in tune or to a steady beat, you may have to hire a side man or side men, (costing more money) to achieve (or maybe not) the desired results. In addition, spending hundreds or thousands of dollars in a studio still does not guarantee success. Finally, the sad fact is most people don't have sacks of money laying around they can spend to realize their musical dreams.

The end result is that many times beginners get discouraged by their lack of progress and quit playing. I know from experience that hearing or your own efforts recorded and played back is the fastest way to get better at playing or singing. It allows the player or singer to compare his or her performance to those they look up to.

So here is an opportunity for beginners that want to get better faster and not spend a bunch of money in the process.

Visit www.guitartabrecording.com now and take a look at our solution to the high cost of recording your own music. I know you will like what you find and I look forward to collaborating with you. It is fun and rewarding and I will enjoy getting to work with you.

Then come back here and tell all the rest of the players in the world what you found.
